General

• This form must be completed by all students appliying for the Emergency Medical Rescue College for the first time.*
• It is in your own interest to ensure that this form is completed in full and that certified copies of all supporting documents are enclosed.*
• If any questions are left un answered or certified documents are not enclosed it will cause the application to be be unsuccessful.*

Admission Requirements

• Consult the college for minimum admission and specific qualification requirements.*
• All candidates who comply with the minimum requirements are still subject to selection procedures.*
• EMRC offers the opportunity for qualifying individuals to apply for recognition of prior learning (RPL). RPL is a qualification-specific process and your work experiance should be relevant to the qualification that you are applying for. You may apply for RPL: *
  • If you are 25 years old or older
  • You have sufficient work experiance of atleast 5 years
  • Your work experiance is relevent to the qualification that you are applying for. NB: please submit all the required information. No late application will be accepted.

Documents to be submitted with your application form

• Certified copy of your Identity document .*
• Certified copy of your Form 5 certificate or equivalent qualification.*
• If you are still in form 5, your marks obtained in form 5 together with your most recent form 5 marks must be submitted.*
• If you attended any other higher education institution, and original academic record and a certificate of conduct, or certified copies of other certificate/deplomers/degrees obtained previously must also be submitted *
• Should the name of the certificate or equivalent qualification differ from the name on the application form, proof should be provided to explain the change in name*

• Certified copies of the following documents will be required.*
  • Your passport/refugee permit/proof of residence/study permit
  • Your school-leaving certificate should be submitted with the English translation of the certificate

• A E300.00 non refundable application fee must accompany this application form.*
